The Zone of Interest director gave young London schoolchildren digital cameras and let them film the Abbey Road sessions for War Child's Mercury-nominated HELP(2), then set their footage beside video shot by children in Gaza, Sudan, Ukraine and Yemen. Damon Albarn, Olivia Rodrigo, Arctic Monkeys, Beth Gibbons, Fontaines D.C. and Jarvis Cocker appear. If you care about music and the world at once, this short film hits hard.
What to expect
A 38-minute documentary, made with Glazer's regular collaborator Mica Levi, that the filmmakers call by children, for children. Expect playful, kid's-eye studio footage cut against sobering scenes from conflict zones. The screening fits neatly around lunch, and the film's footage from Abbey Road Studios is a treat for music fans.
