L'Occitane Amande Café

L'Occitane turns a West 10th Street storefront into an almond-themed café pop-up — free tastings and Provençal styling all weekend.

L'Occitane's almond range gets a full café buildout on West 10th Street: Provençal styling, tastings, product sampling and a room designed to be photographed, all free to walk into. The West Village setting does most of the work — this is a townhouse block, not a mall corridor. It runs both weekend days, which makes it an easy add-on to a Village walk rather than a scheduled trip.

What to expect

A small storefront styled as a café, with samples handed out, products to test and staff explaining the almond line. Visits are short and walk-in. Expect a queue at peak weekend hours on a narrow sidewalk.

Good to know

  • West 10th Street near Seventh Avenue — the 1 to Christopher Street or the A, C, E and B, D, F, M at West 4th.
  • It is free to enter with samples while supplies last.
  • Both weekend days are open, so Sunday morning is the calmest slot.
  • The block is narrow; the line spills onto the sidewalk at peak times.
  • Pair it with the Christopher Street piers a few blocks west.
