Every October the Black Lagoon pop-up dresses dozens of bars across North America in cult-horror kitsch, and Brooklyn's outpost is Someday Bar on Atlantic Avenue. Expect a room done up like a creature feature and a menu of themed cocktails that photograph as well as they drink. If you want a Halloween-season night out that is more fun than a costume party and less effort, this is the neighbourhood-bar version.

Someday Bar is a neighbourhood cocktail bar, so the pop-up is a walk-in bar night rather than a ticketed show: themed decor throughout the room, a Halloween cocktail list and a spooky soundtrack. The organiser notes each venue manages its own hours and any reservations.
