Nail stations, a fragrance arcade game and a Loop earplug listening room fill Pleasing's sensory pop-up at 433 Broadway in SoHo.

Pleasing, Harry Styles' beauty and lifestyle label, has built a play-through store at the corner of Broadway and Howard Street where you test polish at nail stations and sniff your way to a fragrance via an olfactory arcade game. The Pleasing x Loop Discovery Room pairs earplugs with immersive music and visuals, which makes it more of an experience than a checkout line. If you are already downtown for the Together, Together shop, this is the obvious second stop.

What to expect

You move through a series of sensory stations: nail bars, a scent-matching game, racks of exclusive city apparel and a listening room built with Loop. American Express Card Members get an early-access hour and a separate checkout lane, and entry for everyone is managed by capacity.

Good to know

  • Nearest trains: Canal Street on the N, Q, R, W, 6, J and Z lines, a couple of blocks south.
  • Entry is first come, first served, so a line can form on busy weekend afternoons.
  • It is hands-on — expect to try polish and fragrance, so skip heavy perfume of your own.
  • Good for beauty fans and Harry Styles fans alike; you do not need to buy anything to explore.
  • Combine it with the Together, Together merch shop on East 2nd Street for a full Harry afternoon.
