The Gallery of Scent lays out thirty perfumery notes in five flights of touch-activated misters, has you score each one, then turns your answers into a scent portrait printed as a Polaroid with recommendations from a library of more than 30,000 fragrances. It is free to walk in, hands-on and genuinely unusual for a Seaport afternoon. If you have ever wondered why you like the perfumes you like, this is a fun way to find out.
What to expect
Walk in, pick up a scorecard and work through the misters, rating each note. At the end you get a physical Polaroid and a digital portrait with fragrance suggestions. You can book an hour-long candle workshop to pour your own candle, or refill a soap bottle by weight.
