Only Floor 6 of the Whitney Biennial remains on view through the holiday Monday.

The Whitney Biennial's final remaining section is now concentrated on Floor 6, where work from the 56-artist survey stays on view through the holiday Monday. Floors 1 and 5 have already closed, so this is a last look at part of the Biennial rather than the full multi-floor presentation.

What to expect

Expect the Biennial's remaining Floor 6 presentation, not the full original multi-floor survey. Allow time for the galleries and the Whitney terraces, and expect closing-weekend crowds.

Good to know

  • Visitors 25 and under get in free, per the Whitney.
  • Some floors of the Biennial closed earlier; Floor 6 runs to the very end.
  • Closing weekends at the Whitney draw big lines, so book a timed ticket in advance.
  • Nearest trains: A/C/E or L to 14 St–8 Av, then walk west to Gansevoort Street.
  • The museum also has pay-what-you-wish hours — check the Whitney site before you go.
