For one weekend the city's burlesque scene and performers flown in from abroad take over three stages, from a Brooklyn queer bar to a Theater District concert hall. The Saturday Spectacular at Sony Hall is the big showcase, and the Sunday Golden Pastie Awards at Le Poisson Rouge crown the scene's favorites alongside a full show. If you've never seen burlesque done at festival scale, this is the weekend to go.
What to expect
Each night has its own format: a hosted Premiere Party with a pre-show game show and DJ in Brooklyn, a seated spectacular in Manhattan, and an awards night with performances in the Village. A burlesque bazaar sells pasties, jewelry, lingerie and festival merch, and VIP pass holders get priority seating.

- Saturday is at Sony Hall, 245 W 46th St, near Times Sq–42 St and 49 St stations.

- Individual tickets for each show are sold through each venue, while three-day VIP passes are sold through the festival.
