The David H. Koch Theater is a proscenium-style house with 2,550 seats on six levels, on the south side of the Lincoln Center Plaza at Columbus Avenue and 63rd Street, adjacent to the Metropolitan Opera House and David Geffen Hall. It was designed by architect Philip Johnson, opened on April 23, 1964, and is home to the New York City Ballet.
