The country's first Latin food-and-culture festival comes home uptown for its fourth year, timed to open Hispanic Heritage Month. Seventy vendors cover the diaspora — tacos, arepas, ceviche, lechón, pupusas, mofongo — while 14 acts across two stages run salsa, bachata, reggaetón, and Afro-Caribbean sets. Add chef demos, an Abuela-Approved Food Battle, and a World Chancla Throwing Championship, and it is the weekend's biggest food party.
What to expect
Five themed zones — La Calle, The Music Hall, The Gallery, The Dining Hall, and El Patio — hold 70 food vendors, two live stages, chef demos and panels, plus games like the penalty-kick challenge and chancla-throwing championship.
