About
Cross the threshold into VIGILIA, an immersive Halloween gathering at artXnyc. For one night, the venue becomes a space between worlds, combining circus, contemporary dance, poetry, live instrumentation, electronic music, costume, and ritual. Guests may encounter an ancestor altar, palm reading, divination, essential-oil anointing, and a communal book where they can leave a name, thought, or memory. A central performance brings Hybrid Movement Company together with electronic artist NOMINE before the gathering opens into music and dancing with NOMINE, ElJeffre, and Iris. Participation is optional: guests may witness, dance, leave an offering, receive a reading, or simply move through the environment. This is a 21+ event, and the venue is ADA accessible.
