Chief Keef helped invent drill as a Chicago teenager, and here he plays one of the city's most photogenic stages: an open-air roof above the East River with the Brooklyn Bridge and lower Manhattan skyline wrapping around the crowd. Hot 97 legend Funk Flex and the Glory Boyz crew fill out the bill. If you have only ever seen the Pier 17 roof in other people's photos, this is a late-season reason to go up.

What to expect

You ride up to a rooftop deck with a stage at one end and the bridge and harbor views on every side. It is an outdoor show held rain or shine, with no re-entry, and the neighboring Seaport restaurants and bars are steps away before or after.

Good to know

  • Take the 2, 3, 4, 5, A, C, J or Z to Fulton St and walk east to the water at South Street.
  • The show is outdoors rain or shine, so pack a rain layer for an autumn night on the river.
  • There is no re-entry once you are in.
  • Tickets are sold through AXS and the AXS box office; resale outside official channels is risky.
  • Arrive for doors to claim a spot with a view of the bridge.
