Culture Lab programs its lot the way a good small venue programs a week: no genre lane, no cover, and a bill that might put a nineteen-piece orchestra ahead of a punk band. It is one of the last free outdoor music series still running this late in the New York calendar, and this weekend closes the season. Bring a folding chair, buy a drink, and stay for whoever is on next.
What to expect
An open-air lot with a stage, casual standing and seating, food and drink on site, and multiple acts across an afternoon-into-evening slot.
