What to expect
You come up the stairs at 161st Street into the Grand Concourse crowd and enter the same gates as a baseball game. Inside, the field is rotated and shortened, so sightlines from the outfield sections are unusual and the lower bowl behind the goals is where the atmosphere lives. Expect drums, flags and continuous singing from the supporters' end.
