About
GirlTrek's Brooklyn crew walks Prospect Park — the national Black women's health movement gathers at the Peristyle for movement, sisterhood and joy.
GirlTrek is the largest health movement for Black women in America, built on a simple radical act: walking together. The Brooklyn crew's Prospect Park gathering turns a Saturday stroll into sisterhood, self-care and celebration, starting from the park's elegant Peristyle. Newcomers are welcomed warmly — you don't join GirlTrek so much as get swept into it. Lace up and come as you are.
What to expect
Expect a warm group welcome, a walk through Prospect Park's southern loops at an inclusive pace, and community time on the lawn before and after. Energy is high, spirits higher; solo first-timers fit right in.
