- Getting there: Metro-North Hudson Line from Grand Central to Beacon, about 80–90 minutes; the museum is an 8–10 minute walk from the station.
- Dia Beacon is open Friday through Monday only, so the holiday Monday is an open day.
- Arrive at least half an hour before closing — late arrivals are not admitted.
- Advance reservations are suggested but not required.
- The Beacon Free Loop bus links the station, Dia and Main Street except on Sundays.
