For 76 years, Staten Island artists have turned the museum's lawn at Snug Harbor into an open-air gallery, and this edition brings roughly 100 painters, ceramicists, printmakers and jewelers selling their own work. A Biergarten pours Kills Boro and Flagship beers with pretzels on the side. What to expect
Expect artist booths ringing the lawn in front of Building A, with makers on hand to talk about their work, and a fenced Biergarten area with local brews. The museum itself is open for visitors who want to head indoors, and the wider Snug Harbor campus surrounds the lawn.
