Three acres of towering corn on a farm that has been worked since the 1690s is the closest thing to a country fall outing you can reach on a city bus. The maze is a game, not just a walk: you collect clues and solve puzzles to find your way to Victory Bridge, where you can look out over the whole labyrinth. What to expect
After buying tickets you get a short Stalk Talk on how the maze works, then set off into the rows with your clue sheet. Most groups take a good while to reach the bridge. Around the farm you can see the animals and fields, and the grounds are wide open for a picnic.
