Few shows are made for audiences who cannot yet walk, and ELEMENTARY is built entirely around them: soft choreography, an original score and a tactile set of natural materials that explore earth, water, wind and fire. It was developed with residency support from BAM by artists who are also mothers. If you have a baby or toddler and want a gentle first taste of live theater, book this.
What to expect
Families gather in a calm space where three performers move, sing and pass around textured props at a baby's pace. The half-hour performance flows into 20 minutes of playtime on the set, so little ones can touch and explore.
