In 1972 a Toronto staging of Godspell put Martin Short, Eugene Levy, Andrea Martin, Gilda Radner and Dave Thomas on one stage, with Victor Garber as Jesus and Paul Shaffer as musical director. Nick Davis's 98-minute documentary argues that cast became the seed of SNL and SCTV. At this opening-night screening, Short, Martin, Garber and composer Stephen Schwartz take questions afterward.
