The New York Botanical Garden occupies 250 acres at 2900 Southern Blvd. in the Bronx, and is open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Tuesday through Sunday, and select Monday holidays. Every visitor needs a ticket stating the date and time of the visit, sold online or at one of the Garden's ticketing windows. The Metro-North Harlem local line reaches Botanical Garden Station from Grand Central in about 20 minutes, directly across the street from the Mosholu Entrance; by subway, take the B, D, or 4 train to Bedford Park Blvd. Station, then the Bx25 or Bx26 bus east. Onsite parking is $25 per vehicle. A weekend visit usually means an All-Garden Pass at $39 for adults, walking the outdoor collections and the Haupt Conservatory, and picnicking only in the Clay Family Picnic Pavilions.
