Baby Wants Candy invents a full musical from a single audience-suggested title, with the band and cast creating melodies, rhymes and choreography in real time. The company has performed more than 3,500 of these shows across New York, Chicago, Los Angeles and on tour. If you have never seen improvisers sing a harmony they did not know existed a second earlier, this is the Brooklyn Saturday to do it.
What to expect
The audience shouts out a title, then about 75 minutes of story, dance breaks and rhyming numbers unfolds with a live band. It is a big, high-energy show in BCC's mainstage room, and no two nights are alike.
