UB40 turned Red Red Wine and Can't Help Falling in Love into global reggae-pop standards, and their 45th-anniversary tour promises the hits alongside deep cuts and new UB45 material. The Town Hall is a seated 1920s landmark with excellent sound, a much closer room than the arenas the band once filled. If you grew up on these songs, this is a comfortable, singalong night in Midtown.

What to expect

A seated historic theater off Times Square with a crowd that stands up by the second half. Expect a horn-heavy band, the familiar skanking rhythms and a set that moves from fan favorites to reworked versions from the anniversary album.

Good to know

  • The Town Hall is on West 43rd Street, a short walk from Times Square-42 St.
  • The show is all ages.
  • It is a seated venue; balcony seats have good sightlines.
  • VIP meet-and-greet packages are sold separately.
  • Midtown restaurants fill before showtime, so eat early.
