Supergirl tells Kara's side of the Superman story: left on a piece of Krypton that drifted from the planet, she spent her first fourteen years alone. NYC Parks is screening the 2026 film free on the athletic field at Hunts Point Recreation Center, among the final Movies Under the Stars screenings of the season. If you missed it in theaters, catch it under the sky with your neighbors.

What to expect

Bring a blanket, find a spot on the field and wait for dusk, when the film begins on an outdoor screen. It is a relaxed neighborhood crowd with families and friends spread across the grass.
