La MaMa's Queer New York Festival, curated by Queer Zagreb founder Zvonimir Dobrović, ends with Once Upon Tomorrow, a 45-minute duet by choreographer Aleksandra Janeva Imfeld with dancer Bruno Isaković. Two people, maybe lovers, siblings or strangers, travel toward tomorrow through silences, songs and shifting memories. The Downstairs is a small, general-admission black-box space, so expect close quarters and an up-close view of the two performers. The piece mixes movement, spoken fragments, live vocals and sound design over about 45 minutes.
