Xanadu's Bushwick rink turns its afternoon session into a neon, glitter-filled disco inspired by the cult roller musical, soundtracked with disco, house and pop. Unlike the late-night sessions, this one is pitched at everyone from five-year-olds to grandparents. If you want a Saturday that ends with sore calves and a camera roll full of mirror-ball shots, lace up.
What to expect
You check in, grab rental skates if you need them, and head onto a rink lit up in neon while a DJ runs disco, house and pop. Skate guards are on the rink, capacity ebbs and flows through the session, and groups with booth reservations use them as a home base between laps.
