MAS has led Grand Central tours longer than anyone, and its campaign to save the terminal is part of the building's story. A licensed docent walks you past the celestial ceiling and into spots most commuters never notice. If you pass through Grand Central every day and have never really looked, this tour fixes that.
What to expect
The group meets inside the terminal (details come with registration) and moves through the Main Concourse and lesser-known spaces with a docent. Expect about an hour and a half of standing and walking. Docents field plenty of questions, so bring your curiosity about the building.
