The Trash King is a bracket of the dumbest, wildest bits UCB performers think are too insane to do anywhere else, judged by Josh Nasser from atop a throne of trash. It has run since 2019, landed a slot in the New York Comedy Festival, and is hosted by Caroline Ulwick and Benny Benedetto. If you like your Friday nights late, loud and genuinely weird, this is the one.
What to expect
An hour of short head-to-head performances with hosts keeping score, audience reaction swaying things, and a king who sends losers home. Expect props, characters and chaos in a tight black-box room.
