St. James Park kicks off Halloween season early with carnival games, face painting and craft tables for kids in costume. NYC Parks co-hosts it with Council Member Pierina Sanchez, and there's nothing to register for or pay. If you have kids near Fordham Road and want a costume trial run before the big night, bring them here.
What to expect
Expect a festive park scene with game booths, craft stations and face-painting lines, and plenty of little witches and superheroes. Families come and go through the afternoon, so there's no need to arrive at the start.
