MOCA's guides show how Chinatown's buildings and blocks tell the neighborhood's story, from its origins as the Lenape village of Werpoes to the dense community of today. Stops include the oldest streets, a busy park, a church with layered histories, Chinatown's oldest general store and an eatery that once served the turn-of-the-century "bachelor society." If you walk through Chinatown for dumplings, this tour gives you the history behind the block.
