For three decades the Greenest Block in Brooklyn contest has turned brownstone stoops and tree pits into competitive flower displays, and BBG has brought the winners inside its gates. Streetscapes rebuilds the 2025 champions' stoops with the gardeners themselves, while Greening Heroes tells their stories. If you want ideas for your own fire escape or front yard, see it before it closes in late October.
What to expect
Walk the Garden to find full-scale stoop and sidewalk gardens re-created on the grounds, plus portrait panels with first-person stories. Fall blooms, the Seasonal Highlights Tour and other exhibits are part of the same visit.

- The exhibition is included with Garden admission.
- Guide-led seasonal highlights tours are offered at the Garden in fall.
- The Eastern Parkway entrance is next to the Brooklyn Museum stop on the 2/3.
- Allow extra time to see the Japanese Hill-and-Pond Garden nearby.
