Chrono Trigger's soundtrack is one of the most loved scores in video game history, and Melodies Across Time brings it to a live orchestra in the theater beneath Madison Square Garden. It falls on Comic Con Saturday, a few blocks from the Javits, so the audience will be deep in the fandom. If you ever cried at the end of a 16-bit RPG, this is your night.
What to expect
Expect a seated orchestral concert of arranged themes from the game, in the mid-size theater below the arena, with a crowd of longtime fans, some in costume from Comic Con. Doors open an hour before showtime, and the theater's raked seating gives a clear view of the orchestra from most rows.
