What to expect
Expect a ranger-led group walk from the Orchard Beach area into the park's woods and shoreline, with pauses to discuss passages and evidence. It lasts about an hour and a half, over mostly flat trails.

- Meet at Section 2 of Orchard Beach; there is no subway nearby, so plan on a bus from the 6 train at Pelham Bay Park or a car.
